Merrion Square is a beautiful Georgian square located in Dublin’s city center near the National Gallery. It’s a one of the largest squares in Dublin. The square is about 12 acres, and was created in 1762. In addition to the National Gallery, there are Natural History Muserum, Leinster House, and Georgian town houses with colorfully painted doors near the square. It’s a nice place to walk around on sunny day. Many artists exhibit their work on the square fence on Sundays. When I went, there were about 20+ artists with great art work. It was like visiting an art gallery.
