I was lucky enough to spend two nights at the Clarence. The building and the rooms were decorated in simple, yet elegant taste. It’s an old building, but remodeled and maintained well. The location is perfect as it’s in a hart of Dublin’s city center. Even if you don’t stay there, go to the Tea room inside the Clarence hotel to have nice meal, or go to the Octagon Bar for a drink.
It’s pricey especially on weekends and holidays, but they run specials and packages on the website time to time, so check it out before you book.
