Blooms hotel is a well known 3-star hotel in Dublin’s famous Temple Bar district. The hotel is close to many tourist attractions including Dublin Castle and Trinity College. Club M, a very popular club in Dublin is right next to Blooms hotel, and one of the many pubs and bars in Temple Bar area, VAT House is on the ground floor of the hotel.
They usually offer competitive room rates, and some package deals, but can get very expensive during the events in the town. So, check online for the deals.
The twin room I stayed was a bit old and could use some updating, but was good enough for 1 night. The breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant wasn’t impressive at all. If you are looking for a good Irish Breakfast, opt-out B&B package, and just book a room. There are some restaurants in the area such as The Bank, that offer good breakfast. Since it’s in the center of Temple Bar area, the noise can get very loud especially on the weekend nights. Of course, if you are out and about till late at night enjoying Guinness at pubs and bars in the area, you won’t be worrying about the noise.
