There are several bus tours of Dublin run by different companies. Hop-on-hop-off bus is a great way to see the city’s main attraction in a short time, if you are visiting Dublin for the first time. You can purchase ticket at Dublin tourism office, or from the bus driver when you get on. It stops near the many places including Guinness Storehouse, Christ Church Cathedral, National Gallery, and Kilmainham Gaol.
I’ve took several one day bus trip from Dublin (Belfast, Wicklow, Hill of Tara, etc.), and they all worked out great. The privately owned bus tours usually provide a guide with great knowledge of the places you visit.
