Vat House bar is on the ground floor of Blooms Hotel in Dublin’s Temple Bar area. The name VAT came from the vat house in the Guinness Brewery, St. James Gate Dublin. During the final stage of the brewing process, they store Guinness in large copper vats and left to mature to develop the flavor.
Inside the VAT house, many woods (oak, mahogany and pine) from the original vat house in Guinness brewery are used to create the atmosphere.
They have good Guinness, and also have variety of different beers, whiskeys and other drinks. Also, there’s a nightly traditional Irish music session at the bar.
